The 16th anniversary season of the Shell Point Concert Series is filled with an impressive array of talented artists and dynamic performances. Along with three distinct musical series, Shell Point also puts the skills of resident artists and artisans on center stage through the Fine Arts Series. There’s no doubt. This season offers something for everyone!

    This series kicks off in November with The Golden Years of Broadway, a show tune extravaganza that theater lovers won’t want to miss. Usher in the New Year with the Memphis Motown Soul Experience, a performance with groovy sounds and moves that represent an entire musical era. In February, the Vienna Boys Choir will delight you with their medieval, contemporary and experimental array of traditional choir music. Swing into March with a toe-tapping Benny Goodman tribute by the Boilermaker Jazz Band; April concludes the series with a performance from Siberian Virtuosi’s masterful classical repertoire.


    Five Concerts & Conversations events are held in the Grand Cypress Room at The Woodlands, which allows for an intimate, chamber-style performance, followed by refreshments and the opportunity to meet the performers. The season begins with pianist David Crohan in November, and continues with pianist Peter Fancovic in January. In February, Shell Point presents strings ensemble Con Brio Quartet in concert, followed by the Sanibel Trio. The 2018-2019 season wraps up with a performance by the Chrysalis Chamber Players.


    Shell Point is pleased to partner with the Southwest Florida Symphony to present three performances in the 2018-2019 Shell Point Concert Series. The series starts with a Holiday Pops concert in December, which brings Tradition, Comfort and Joy to the holidays. Two spring concerts will offer the opportunity to examine the poetic, visual, musical and dramatic arts through the works of the world’s greatest composers.


    This series highlights the artistry of Shell Point resident artists and artisans with two annual shows, held during the 2018–2019 season. These free shows will showcase the creative work of many talented residents, and ranges from photography and painting to three-dimensional sculptures and intricate quilts. After touring the shows, enjoy lunch at any of Shell Point’s six public restaurants, conveniently located on campus. Parking at each venue will be available for guests.
